Crawford State Park Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration
Held on July 2, Crawford State Park’s Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration features a large fireworks display and a complete family day in the park with food, musical entertainment, games and activities for all ages. The show is free, but a Kansas State Wildlife and Parks Vehicle Permit is required to attend.

Girard Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Display
Held on July 3, Girard celebrates the Independence Day holiday by hosting a community celebration and fireworks display at Wutke Park featuring food, live music and a large fireworks display.

Hepler Ruritan Club 4th of July Celebration & Rodeo
Held on July 3-4, the Hepler Ruritan Club 4th of July Celebration & Rodeo features two days worth of holiday celebrations with a large rodeo including bareback riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, bullriding and breakaway roping, mutton bustin’, calf scramble and bull chariot races. A dance follows the rodeo on July 3, on July 4, the Hepler 4-H Club sponsors a parade followed by kids’ games, the annual Hillbilly Games and more rodeo.

Pittsburg Independence Day Celebration
Held on July 4, the City of Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department hosts a large fireworks display and a complete family day in the park with carnival rides, baby contest, 5K run, tennis tournament, golf tournament, bike ride, horseshoe and bocce tournaments, food, arts and crafts, live music and activities for all ages
